Laura can now bring her platform of "Let's Move in Schools," encouraging health and wellness for our youth to a national stage. A certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Laura has appeared at local schools facilitating fitness activities and participating in races such as the St Jude's Run. In August, she will support the "Soles for the City" campaign to collect athletic shoe donations for local kids and their families. In 2010, Lady Raiders Dance Team member Brittany Gordon held the title of Miss Virginia United States. Lady Raider Stephanie is a third-year ambassador for the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. Representing the state of Virginia, Laura Eilers was crowned Ms. United States on July 14, 2011 in Las Vegas. Her platform is "Let's Move," the campaign enacted by First Lady Michelle Obama. This program encourages daily activity, nutritious eating, overall good health and positive self esteem. Through Let's Move, Laura educates men, women and children of all ages on how to support a healthy lifestyle.
