Ms. United States Sports Bra Featured in Celebrity Ebay Auction

Ms. United States 2011 Laura Eilers, alumni NFL cheerleader of the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams, is honored to be invited to participate in this cause.

MZ & Emmers Sports Bra Auction was formed through a friendship between Women's Professional Soccer star McCall Zerboni (MZ), 5 1/2 year-old Emma Bayer (Emmers) and her parents, Carey and David Bayer.

The auction is designed to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer through the empowerment of women's athletics.

In October 2010, we participated in a local breast cancer festival with friends from the WPS's Atlanta Beat and raffled several autographed items raising $300 for Komen for the Cure.

In July 2011, we held a week-long eBay auction of 84 sports bras, autographed and decorated by women's professional soccer players from around the world. All 84 bras were sold and a total of $4400 was raised for Komen for the Cure.

For 2012, we have expanded to include the entire women's athletic world. Currently, we have a diverse group of close to 200 female professional athletes (soccer players, olympians, paralympians, fitness gurus, dancers, race car drivers, mixed martial arts athletes, mountain bikers, football players, X gamers, sportcasters, etc.) participating in the event by autographing and decorating sports bras. Some of the more notable athletes participating include Jane Fonda, Shannon Miller, Brandi Chastain, Nadia Comaneci, Gabrielle Reece, and many more.

The auction will run from April 7-15, 2012 through eBay. Beneficiaries are Keep A Breast Foundation, Susan G Komen for the Cure and Breast Cancer Survivors' Network, Inc. We have chosen these charities based on their commitment to education, research and direct services for those impacted by breast cancer.
