Ms. United States Pageant to be July 8, 2012

The Miss United States organization has announced the 2012 pageant schedule to be held in the nation's capital Washington, D.C. The pageant includes four divisions of Junior Teen, Teen, Miss and Ms. United States. Delegates arrive on Tuesday, July 3, and the final pageant will take place on Sunday, July 8.

2011 Ms. United States Laura Eilers will join her 2011 titleholders to lead the festivities. The week's schedule will include the following events open to the public:

• Wednesday, July 4, 2012 4th of July Parade on Capitol Hill
• Thursday, July 5, 2012 Major League Baseball - San Francisco Giants vs Washington Nationals
• Friday, July 6, 2012 Fashion Show and Swimwear Preliminaries
• Saturday, July 7, 2012 Evening Gown Preliminaries
• Sunday, July 8, 2012 Pageant Finals
